The Sleep Mask

We ask respondents to wear sleep masks during visualization.

  • This eliminates environmental distractions and allows subjects to really see and describe events in the past and expectations and hopes for the future as if they are really happening in the present.

  • When this happens we are able to explore the real emotional aspects of events in their lives.

  • Respondents find this process both personally enlightening and mentally relaxing–giving them a chance to process their experiences in ways they havenÕt done before and allowing a break from their current stressors.
